THE KULAI MUNICIPAL COUNCIL, HEREBY GIVE OUR COMMITMENT THAT:

1. WE ARE READY TO ASSIST WITH WARM AND PROMPT HOSPITALITY.
2. WE STRIVE TO DEVELOP FACILITIES AS WELL AS A CLEAN, BEAUTIFUL AND PLEASANT SURROUNDING.
3. TO UPHOLD THE SOVEREIGNTY OF THE LAW AND ENSURE ITS IMPLEMENTATION IS CARRIED OUT AS FAIR AS POSSIBLE.

4. TO GIVE THE RESULTS ON BUILDING PLAN APPLICATIONS WITHIN A STIPULATED PERIOD PROVIDED THAT COMPLETE DOCUMENTS ARE SUBMITTED.

i) HOUSING/FACTORY/ SINGLE HOUSE PROJECTS – 1 WEEK.

ii) HOUSE REPAIRS – 8 WEEKS.

5. TO PROVIDE RESULTS ON APPLICATIONS WITHIN A STIPULATED PERIOD,  PROVIDED COMPLETE DOCUMENTS ARE SUBMITTED.

i) ASSET OWNERSHIP TRANSFER REGISTRATION – 8 WEEKS.

ii) BUSINESS/ADVERTISEMENT LICENCE – 1 WEEK.

6. WE WILL PROVIDE EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE CLEANING SERVICES WITHIN THE FOLLOWING PERIOD :

i) GARBAGE DISPOSAL IS CARRIED OUT ONCE IN THREE (3) DAYS.

ii) CLEANING OF DITCHES/DRAINS ARE CARRIED OUT ONCE IN EVERY TEN (10) WEEKS.

iii) GRASS CUTTING IS CARRIED OUT WITHIN A TWO (2) WEEK CYCLE.

7. WE WILL PROVIDE SERVICES WITHIN THE FOLLOWING PERIOD :

i) RECEIPT ISSUANCE WITHIN 5 MINUTES AFTER PAYMENT IS MADE FOR EACH TRANSACTION.

ii) ASSESSMENT TAX BILLS DELIVERED ON OR BEFORE 15 JANUARY AND 15 JULY EACH YEAR.

iii) LICENCE RENEWAL NOTICE DELIVERED ON OR BEFORE 31 JANUARY EACH YEAR.

iv) CONTROL MEASURES (FOGGING) ARE TAKEN WITHIN 42 HOURS ONCE COMPLAINT IS RECEIVED.

v) TAKE ACTION WITHIN 42 HOURS FOR ALL PUBLIC COMPLAINTS.
